Art and Light
One of my biggest photographic challenges is using artificial light. So I signed up for a one-day workshop at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design where a small group of us played around all day with lighting. As always seems to be the case with these kinds of classes, I walked away with something more than I expected -- feeling much more comfortable using my camera in manual exposure mode. In fact, all of these photos were taken on manual exposure with artificial light and are unprocessed. They're not perfect, but it was a great learning experience.
Oh. And the model's name is "Art." :)
