Little Waves

Today the rest of the country is about to be battered by a terrific storm, railway lines will be closed, seaside cafes will be flooded and people will be taking spectacular photos of big waves hammering quaysides in normally quiet seaside resorts.

Here all is calm. We have these tiny waves which won't worry even these slender poles sticking out of the sand. If they were 300 miles further south, they perhaps wont be standing this time tomorrow.

I still manage to get water into my boots, so squelch off home for breakfast.
