Cooperative

We delved into the medina unguided today and of course, became horrifically lost. Normally you can navigate by the sun or the stars, but not in Fes. The medina is so built up that you can't even see the sky. You can also normally use specific shops as way points, but again, not in Fes. The medina is so huge that there are at least 20 of each type of shop, all of which look identical.

Our ramblings eventually lead us to here, a woman's cooperative apothecary. They were very friendly and extremely good salespeople. I parted with a fair amount of cash in exchange for Argan Oil, an oil made from the nuts of a tree only found in Morocco. You can see it being made by the woman in the bottom left.
