Hello Spring!

No wind, no rain, blue sky and the birds are singing. My mum's birthday, she has a snazzy orange kettle to go on the wood burner in the event of another powercut. Did the breakfast shift at 6.30 at the night shelter, the local churches and council support a 3 month "winter warmth " project over the cold months. My road bike had a service and some new parts last week so today might see a quick blast out for a test ride. Life is good. Bike ride, 16 k av 26kph. Also heard the mum and sister of a lad who, at 15 was murdered in London in a gang associated event. Their message was one of forgiveness, period. Very powerful. They are now working alongside lads in the area to hopefully reduce the chances of this happening again.
