Bruce Munro installation at St Andrew Square

I managed to catch a moment when the long rays of the winter sunset were slicing through the strange enokitake Bruce Munro has planted amongst the first crocuses, just seconds before the globes started to glow themselves, via the fibre optic cables that you can see if you look closely.

Though all light installations at this time of year are a lift to the spirits, I thought "less is more" might have made this piece a little more meaningful.
