Tuschinski Cinema
Every time I visit this wonderful place I see something new, that I haven't noticed before. I never realised that the colours in the ceiling light in the foyer actually change! Beautifully hypnotic, and a perfect place to hang out whilst waiting to go in to watch a film (we saw the new Scorsese film. Wolf of Wall Street).
The creator of the cinema, Abram Tuschinski, died in Auschwitz but thankfully his creation lives on. More pics of Tuschinski here.
It was a leisurely, lazy kind of day in which we had lunch at the Van Dael cafe, had a peek at the winter Olympics and celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary.
I also received several texts from friends telling me that one of my photos had been published in the Guardian newspaper magazine yesterday!
