100 years of sparkle

Today we celebrated 100 years of my grandmother's life. Gran is an amazing lady, and she is really healthy, but sad to say that time steals your senses, and this is the most upsetting thing of all.

She can't remember things, she has lost her sight, and some of her hearing, but she is fit and takes no medications. She looked vibrant and happy today, but photographing her at this time was so difficult. She can no longer see where the camera is, so it was hard to capture a good image.

I am so blessed to have such a strong woman in my life. She is pictured here with my mother, Wendy, who has lost her own father and husband over the last few years. We cherish the time we still have with this amazing lady. Hip hip hooray Gran!
