Wonderful wasp

Today we went back to the Brownhill Creek again, looking for bugs. I have not blipped a bug for a while so it was time.

Paladian suggested that if I sat still for a while, I might get lucky with something landing on the water. Sure enough after about 15 minutes, this huge golden wasp arrived for a drink.

I am not sure what sort of was he was, but he was a big one at around 2.5 cms long. With the shot in the bag it was time to go home and watch the Crows (Aussie Rules football) thrash that Port Adelaide mob, then watch some more Winter Olympics.
