A little colour to brighten a dreary day

This was taken on Saturday - I was playing around with my new macro lens and flash - would of downloaded on saturday but couldn't find my card reader and hubby had the Mac so had to do it today. I am still not quite used to it all but practising is good. I liked the effect of the water on the rose and the shape of the middle part of the flower.

This was to brighten a dreary day where I spent the day and evening on my on unexpectedly. Not quite the valentines celebration I was hoping for - lets hope it happens at some point. So these flowers brightened my day.
