Off to church

So much has happened! I now work for a new organization. I work on a concept called resilience which is more or less development for communities living in arid land prone to drought. We are trying to get these communities to such a point that when the next drought comes, they will not require large amounts of emergency relief aid. We are doing this regionally and linking with regional organizations. A great challenge.

But this meant that I had to take a break from photos for some time. I needed to focus on the new job and all do-steep learning curve!

Whereas before I took many snaps at work, now it is not possible as my office is on the same compound as the embassy and there are signs all around warning people not to take pictures.

The other challenge is that I have no computer at home which allows me to download the pictures from my camera. I used to use the comp at my former job and have yet to replace it. So I am left with taking shots from my phone... like this one.

Finally I decided to take a break from social media. It is quite liberating...
