Snowy Perthshire

This shot was taken from the car - I wasn't driving! - on the way home from visiting my mum. There had been no snow in Bannockburn, some twenty miles further south, but an overnight flurry or two had left the Perthshire countryside whiter than white, and very pretty it was too. The road, fortunately, was absolutely clear, and we made good time heading north. Within another twenty miles, the fields had returned to greens and browns, and the only sign of the white stuff was on the hill tops. By the time we got home the day was back to the dreich drizzle that's characterised the last few weeks. Oh for some sunshine!

(My plea was answered - the following day brought the longest spell of sunshine in weeks!)
