The Battle of Bannockburn
It was such a lovely sunny Sunday morning that I thought I would take a walk to visit the refurbished Battle of Bannockburn heritage site near Stirling.
A new visitor centre will open soon while the statue of Robert the Bruce and the rotunda has undergone a refurbishment ahead of the 700th anniversary of the battle in the summer.
It's such an important site and moment in Scottish history and visiting on a clear crisp sunny winter morning like today fairly fills your heart with pride.
