Joyful!

An impromptu day. I got up made fresh tomato soup, bottled it up, threw on some walking gear, hopped into the car and headed to the hills. Very pleased we did! Lots of activity. We enjoyed a lovely five mile walk, nearly got taken out by an overzealous dog on a extending lead – his owner was very apologetic although he didn’t need to be, these things happen and thankfully the dog was rather soppy looking.
Came home, poured the last glass of champagne from Friday night and sat in the garden on our deck in the warm sun and before we knew it we were giving the garden a little tidy up and two hours had passed.

Time now for warm showers and then we are going to have a dinner before curling up in front of the open fire.

Busy week ahead, so I will do my best to keep up. Off to London Tuesday night ready for my dreaded study day on Wednesday and I am also covering a work team mate whilst she is on hols, so its no doubt all going to be rather manic!
