Buzzards
Spring is definitely in the air, the blossoms are all out and this male and female buzzard look like they are deciding to start walking out together ...
There are lots of catkins on the trees - the red ones (don't ask, I'm no syliviculturist) are the ones that attract birds in huge numbers, along with squirrels.
The ground is still very wet, which makes for quite a visual map in the forest of what has passed by - there were lots of BIG wild boar prints and lots of deer prints too.
I saw the Goshawk again today, hunting between the branches, much too quick for me though ... yes, that's my objective this year, to get quicker on the button ...
Thankfully Toulouse won against Biarritz - chez Biarritz ... that was much needed ...
Completely missed the commenting yesterday - bit of a Lloyd Cole moment ...
