Politics on a Wall

When I spotted this today I thought it said No.2 Muslim war , anyway I stand corrected it obviously says 'No to the Muslim war'.
I wonder why people take the trouble to spray slogans on walls, do they think that the worlds decision makers will pay any attention to what they say. This is on the side wall of a betting shop in an Ayrshire town.
I do not think that George Bush or Tony Blair has read it
