Exhausted

Today we attended a 'pack walk' - it was the first one and is hopefully going to be the first of many regular walks.

It was a lovely bright sunny day for it. I was dreading Lola's behaviour as she usually goes mental when she sees a another dog or person and then pulls and gallops towards them bouncing like a kangaroo along the way eager to play, getting us both twisted and tangled in the extender lead. I have to report she wasn't as bad as I'd anticipated, but I'm not yet brave enough to let her off the lead. She was covered in mud and soaking when we got home so a quick foot bath and then she was on the couch in the sun and it wasn't 5mins later and her eyes were dropping.

New met some lovely dogs and their owners and look forward to the next one.
