Edinburgh tenement gardens

Strange bright orb in the sky today. Stayed there most of the day, although I think there was also a shower in the early afternoon which we missed.

Feeling a touch delicate this morning after a magnificent party last night. But needs must, so we managed lunch at the Apiary with our young friend with whom we like to catch up once a semester or so, and then afterwards did some sorting some domestic sorting out. This gave me the opportunity to photograph a couple of Edinburgh tenement gardens being put to good use in the sunshine. I guess it wouldn't have been warm enough to sit outside today, but there was a distinct springlike feel to the air (or there was when you in the sun, but out of the wind...).
