End of the Day

Raced down to the dhow wharfage after work to get some shots of the traditional cargo boats. Unfortunately stopping off at home to collect our cameras meant we JUST missed the best of the light. Found this worker doing the sunset prayer... facing Mecca; the dhow, Creek, Sheikha Mariam's Palace and modern buildings in the distance just adding the contrast of new and old.

A good, if not slightly tricky start to the week! Sunday done and dusted then. Home for lunch too. What more could one want?
