365 #45. Soakaway?

A good/interesting day today. Different ground conditions to what was expected made for some onteresting converstaions and theories :) Then unfortunately it started raining/snowing. Just in time for me to start a soakaway test in which we fill a hole full of water and measure how long it takes for water to soakaway (thrilling right?!) For some reason the test doesn't work overly well when the elements are filling the whole up!

Managed to get an early finish in time to watch Lizzy Yarnold become Olympic Champion! You go girl!
