Picnic on the beach....

Spending a great weekend with one of my most wonderful friends from Toronto...Jane (also on blip...forshadowandlight - somethings wrong and i can't add the link!!!) and i have known each other for over 30 years - gulp....and we've had a great time catching up, sharing lots of news and goals - eating, walking, drinking a bit of wine (just a wee bit :) ) .....and generally having a lovely time hanging out with each other!

Today we (Terry, Vincient, Vivien, Jane and I) took a drive up the east coast to Ingonish....stopping off a few times to walk and eat lunch! The sun shone, and it was in fact quite warm as we sat at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and munched down some lunch. then we headed further up the coast and had a great hike that took just over an hour. The views were so breathtaking and amazing.

Jane has to leave early tomorrow morning....:(
But i'm pretty sure she'll be back soon for some more Cape Breton hospitality!!
