Sun at last
We braved the spring half-term hordes at Leeds Castle today. We arrived early and there were no queues. At all. It was such a pleasure to enjoy fairly free pathways and the chance to interest the birds with our pot of snacks. There were so many pictures that I loved from today. Little S adored the ducks, geese and swans, signing and quacking cheerfully at them, even when one goose had a swipe at her little fingers. A bittersweet morning with Little H being blissful as my inlaws have kindly taken her off this afternoon for a few days with them - she'll have a blast with them and her cousins - and we will miss her! Thank you Grandpa for helping this morning. So so much. we hope you will get well soon Nana! And here's to many more trips to our local castle - maybe even after school in summer!
