Skull

Iona got back from Los Angeles today after a couple of weeks work/holiday. She was full of familiar names - Malibu, Mulholland Drive, Hollywood Boulevard, Long Beach, Santa Monica, Skid Row, ..... She had a wonderful time.

She stayed in an apartment just off Venice Beach. Another name. She described it as full of left over hippy characters. 'Weird' she said.

She brought me back a small skull from Venice Beach. She said it illustrated the Mexican influence on local culture. That may certainly be the case.
