The Northern Lights?

Well not exactly. More like the Eastern lights over Brimsdown but there we go. Never taken a photo like this before and on this evidence probably never will again but the moon was very bright as we strolled down the road this evening after Church. I deliberately kept the street lights in the frame (a technical term) for a number of reasons. A) because it gave that mysterious feel. B). Because it added to the sense of drama around our moon. C). Because it shows we have a certain level of security awareness in our neighbourhood but most importantly D). Because I couldn't work out how to get the ugly objects out of the photo. Off to the grim North East tomorrow so you never know I may actually see the actual Northern Lights...
