House sitting

I've moved from my sister's to my parents house for 10 days to look after their cat whilst they are on holiday. Lily was a barn rescue 5 years ago and until a few months ago came near humans for food and little else, she never sat anywhere near us and attempting to stroke her left you watching a blur as she shot off. I'm not quite sure what has happened over the past few months but all of a sudden house sitting means sharing the sofa with her & getting stared at if you don't pay her enough attention!
