Coloured rocks

We spent the day on the Denniston Plateau, on the West Coast, and were lucky to have overcast conditions all day, but without the fog and low cloud that frequently shrouds the area. We photographed lots of different subjects, but it was the rocks that fascinated me the most. There are many colourful rocks, the colours caused by mineralisation and by lichens and algae growing over them.
