Happy Birthday Mum

Although it's not till tomorrow, we had a birthday dinner tonight.

As has become customary, I made a birthday cake, decorated with hearts for a Saint Valentines theme.

To self- critique it was not a great bake (should have given it longer in the oven), but it was nice to look at!

My niece had to help Granny blow out her candles and open her cards. I heard her tell Granny that she made all the cards- all fibs!! But she's so cute she gets away with it!
