Paul's Trip To Dublin
Dublin is cool.
We woke up around 10:30 and went downstairs to have some breakfast. We checked out of the hotel around 11:30 and brought some of our luggage to the O'Hara's aunt before driving into the city to walk around some more. We parked and walked to Trinity College. The buildings were beautiful. From there we walked across a bunch of the bridges spanning the River Liffey, including the famous Ha'penny Bridge. After that we walked through the Temple Bar area and St. Stephen's Green before getting back in the car and driving to the St. James's Gate Guinness Brewery. We took a tour of the brewery and at the end we shared some Guinness in the Gravity Bar while getting a great view of Dublin.
From there we stopped at the Liffey Valley Mall to stock up on candy before our trip West. We ate dinner at Annette and Ray's house in Mullingar with their son Leonard and some other family members. We tried some hurling and watched Take Me Out, both the English and Irish versions. After dessert, we continued our drive to Sligo.
About two hours later we finally arrived at Alice and Martin's house in Stone Park. We dropped our bags upstairs and right now, Sean, Paul, Brendan, and I are watching some old movie with a blind guy and a samurai sword.
Goodnight, all.
