Hadrian's Wall

A gloriously sunny day, so Mr M and I took the whole day off and headed south, to walk a short section of Hadrian's Wall, starting from Housesteads. Louie enjoyed the walk too - and the picnic!

Goes without saying that we took the scenic route there, with fabulous views of the snow-topped Cheviot en route. Stopped off in Belford for a meal on the way back.
