Port Taranaki

It seems i have become a sunset snapper it is the only time in the day i have to take pics. All that scoffing over the years has come back and bit me. Todays picture is taken over the lava flows from the last Taranaki eruption 10,000 years ago. It's quite a lunar landscape really even the crabs look other worldly. So much of this region's fortunes are pinned on oil and other primary resources and sadly this shot speaks more of industry and all it's risks than exploring in the rock pools.
