Melbourne from the 88th floor!

Jen, Terry and I went to the city and went up to the Eureka Skydeck viewing platform. The Southern Hemisphere's highest at 88 floors and 984.3 ft/ 300 metres high. There are 3,680 stairs and a total 92 storeys but fortunately there is a lift which takes you to the viewing platform at more than 9 metres a second! Made the ears pop!

The ship in the distance is the Queen Mary 2. We will be leaving from the same dock on the Arcadia at the end of the month.
