It's a beautiful day

Overnight frost - the first this winter! There were ice puddles to be cracked on the way down with the bin bags this morning - but the sun was shining and the sea was flat calm, with no wind to chase the waves.

Too beautiful today to be confined in a windowless room, so I skipped Spinning Group and headed out with the new camera. We went down to Airon to shoot the Holms of Ire. Happily for me, although it was flat calm at home, there were Atlantic waves breaking up there.

Two dozen shots later I realise just how much I have to learn. At least the dogs had fun, and it was good to be out in the sun with Mr L for a change.
