Signs of Spring.
It was a drizzly morning, but I was optimistic there would be a good chance of capturing some signs of Spring beauty.
It was freezing cold so I was well dressed for the elements !
There was a lone swan gliding majestically up the canal and she or he stopped beside the cafe that closed down a little while ago.
The swan family used to enjoy being fed there by people sitting outside the cafe in the Summer.
Then I walked along the nice new clean path behind Shawbrook Close.
This has improved the look of the area quite alot and it is popular with dog walkers. Wooden structures have been put in place at each end of the path to stop horse riders going along the path.
Hope it stays free of chewing gum!
The daffodils are coming along nicely in Cutwood and the robin was singing cheerily.
I saw snowdrops and clumps of yellow crocuses that brightened up this cloudy, dull morning.
I hope the weather improves soon.
On with the laundry now!
Have a good Monday blipper friends.
