Making Bolognese Sauce for Tea

Early start and Steve, Amelie, Sophia and I were down in Bruntsfield at 9.05 a.m. in search of shoes for two little girls. Steve did a recce and found shop didn't open until 9.30 a.m. so we headed for coffee and croissants. Bizarrely Amelie had tiramisu and chocolate milk while Sophia toyed with some apple juice. Amelie thoroughly enjoyed the whole shoe experience while Sophia screamed the entire time and eyed the lovely assistant as if she was a snapping crocodile. Nevertheless we persevered and emerged with not only footwear but two new hats. Amelie kept hers on while helping me cook tonight's meal.

Raymond has taken Dixie to the vet and the rest of us will head to Dobbies for the mandatory visit and ice-cream. Happy days!
