Fort Hood shooter

It was widely believed that heaven was situated up here and angels laid on the clouds, adoring us from up above. I wonder if Wilbur and Orville Wright were the first people to fly over the clouds in 1903 after building the first heavier-than-air human plane. If so, I wonder if they were afraid of disrupting anything as their plane rose above the clouds. I wonder how they felt when they realized for the first time that there was nothing but pure fresh air up here. Were they pleasantly surprised? Disappointed? Indifferent? Ah, if only I was a reporter back then...
