Zwartbles

Weather wise the day has deteriorated, we paid another visit to the caravan park earlier in the day to check out some fittings, these beautiful looking sheep are residing in the field, their objective to keep the grass down.

From the internet:
Zwartbles is a breed of domestic sheep originating in the Friesland region of the north Netherlands where they were reared for sheep milk as well as lamb. They are of striking appearance with a black/brown fleece, a white blaze on the face, white socks, and a white tail tip. They are relatively large with a dense fleece, the wool is medium to fine with an excellent crimp and fibre length making it popular for spinning and felting. They are known for being docile and friendly.
