Busy day at the bird feeder

I sat down to catch up on some reading this afternoon, but was soon distracted by a good deal of activity on the bird feeders. It was actually a Great Spotted Woodpecker that caught my eye, an occasional visitor that proved much quicker than my camera. A flurry of Blue, Great and Long Tailed Tits kept me amused as a very small bird just escaped from view into the bushes. A Green Finch made a brief appearance, as did a Nuthatch and a couple of Robins. My tiny visitor returned, and it was only by comparing my pics with my RSPB handbook that I was able to identify this as a Goldcrest. I've not seen one before, either in the garden or elsewhere. Not sure I've seen so many different birds in my garden before, at least not in such a short time.

P.S. I do think the feeder looks very ugly: I tried to get something on the bushes, but this very pretty little bird was way too quick for me!
