Arboretum

I love this picture.

I took it on our Christmas Eve trip to The National Memorial Arboretum near a little village called Alrewas. It is basically a massive collection of trees and shrubs alongside an impressive array of memorials remembering people from all walks of life who have fallen while defending our country.

The small red and blue specks at the top of the steps are my boys Toby and Evan respectively.

It doesn't look it but it was absolutely freezing cold. Such a fresh, clear day made for lovely colours.
