Picnic at the zoo

After an excellent swimming lesson, we decided to head to the zoo for a picnic lunch and a wander around. As a special treat we took S2's car, well we told CJ it was a treat but really it needed a decent run to fully charge the battery!

Predictably we spent a lot of time watching the monkeys, penguins, red pigs, and otters. One day I am sure we will see some other animals, but for now he is fascinated by these ones!

Then the weather turned cold, so we headed home, just before the rain started.

A great way to spend a lazy Sunday.
