Burgers - Kiwi style

Burgers tonight at home for all the family, but in my case it ended up overloaded as usual.

In Kiwi BBQ tradition a burger isn't complete without a Medium Rare Beef Burger, Cheese, Fried Egg, Grilled Pineapple, Beetroot Slices, Grated Carrot, Lettuce, Tomato Sauce, Salad Cream, and tonight cucumber as well, served on a buttered toasted bun.

It's not everyone's choice of ideal flavours, but it definitely is mine.



Side thought: I wonder if McDonalds still have a Kiwiburger on the menu in their restaurants in NZ? I remember it being pretty good when I last bought one... 12 years ago!
