Ball of Fire

If you haven't noticed by now, I love sunsets and sunrises. I generally like transitions. Not change but transitions. Transitions that are expected, that are normal, that happen at regular intervals. Transitions are progress. So a sunrise is a transition from night to day; a sunset a transition from day to night. Normal, everyday occurrences. But they are never uninteresting. They are always the same and always different. Today's sunset is a spectacular ball of fire being absorbed into the blackness of night. A sunset happens every day; it is always different. For that reason I will never be bored.
