I went to hear Donald Miller (the author) speak on his book tour at FUMC Pasadena. Interestingly enough, DM is originally from Houston, but now lives in Portland. It was weird when he made references to Portland because I kept thinking, I was just there!

Our flight took all of Sunday night and by Monday morning I barely had time to leave the airport, shower at my friend's church, and make it to work in time.

Then after a long day of work we went to hear Don speak. It was AMAZING and 1000% worth it.

I also got to meet Susan Isaacs, the author of Angry Conversations with God, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
