MacRitchie Reservoir

In spite of the name, this reservoir is in Singapore. MacRitchie was the city engineer and the reservoir was named after him. It was originally Thomson Reservoir. Both Thomson and MacRitchie were Scots.

the ironwork of this control house for the reservoir was forged in Glasgow by MacFarlane and Co. The gates and fence are marked Brown and Murray and Co Glasgow.
