After a thrilling day of uniing yesterday I have the rest of the week off which is good because after so much holidaying a day of actual work really takes it out of me. That's not true, in fact after yesterday in just got me all revved up for more.

Since I didn't have uni today I thought I better do the right thing and do some studying...so I went to the movies. It's a hard life. Holly and I saw Frozen and it was pretty good, disney did well with this one. I spent the rest of the day doing odd jobs and downloading some new shows to watch. One of the things our course lecturer suggested yesterday is to watch some shows we usually wouldn't. As I usually watch sitcoms like The Office, Parks and Recreations and Arrested Development I got House of Cards, True Detective and Dom has offered to give me The Newsroom. I've watched an episode of True Detective and an episode of House of Cards and I can see the appeal of the shows. They're well written and quick paced, I also like how there is no wasted space either spoken of visually. Every shot and word can have more than one meaning.
