The lone fishermen
We set out early on a bike ride with our friends Tulsi and Ramesh. A long loop over the bridge to the other side and back on the ferry - a round trip of 20kms stopping part way for another one of the basic but delicious Indian breakfasts. Vallapam, Kadala Curry, Masala Dosa, Poori Baji, and a glass of coffee. Just the fuel needed for the rest of the ride. The heat intensified and each time we paused we were sweating buckets .. sorry glowing profusely! A great ride with so many Hi's from everyone we passed.
This afternoon I went to the hospital with Alex and it seems the wrist is healing so although the cast or POP as they call it here (Plaster of Paris) is loose they are leaving it .. we were seen immediately and the consultation, X ray and calcium tablets all came to less than £10.
I'm sucking in every breeze, every smell every pixel of every view as the time we will leave seems to be racing towards us.
There were many boats out by the harbour today but these lone fishermen in their coracle caught my eye.
