Through a lens darkly

Lighthouse

My good friend Jacqui and I drove to a National Trust owned lighthouse near Lynmouth, to have a long weekend to celebrate my birthday.

The first night it was just Jax and I. We struggled to get there before dark, but we just got in under the wire. Hailstones were covering the extremely steep, narrow road that led to the lighthouse. The hairpin bends and sheer drops over the edge made it quite a dramatic drive!

The corridor of the lighthouse is pictured here. The light was motion-activated, which was quite fun.
