Thames over Sonning Bridge

The bridge over the Thames in Sonning, Berkshire has been closed since early January, due to flooding. The problem is the road just beyond the bridge, and means a long detour for many people in the area. We put wellies on today and took some photos standing IN the river Thames on what would normally be a footpath. But this was my favourite which I took standing on the bridge over the Thames. The Willow trees just starting to show the tiniest signs of new grows and as the sun hit, they positively shone.
