A fragrant Mehonia

I'm not sure what variety of Mehonia this is but it has a delightful fragrance. I was in a local park with my tripod stuck in amongst several of these large shrubs. In the background I could hear the sounds of children playing and geese honking. The squirrels were leaping around not sure whether to chase each other or go for the peanuts still in their shells that had been dropped on the ground. Considering it was a fairly grey day there was a lot of activity in the park.
