She's home!
Jacob and I were up and out extraordinarily early this morning and ended up at the 9.10am song circle. It was very different for us due to it being half term so there weren't many there, and those that were there were 3 and 4! Jacob was most impressed with the big kids enthusiasm but thought it best not to stray too far from me.
Stephan and I went to pick up Henny this afternoon. After being shown the graphic video of her endoscopy we were told that she has an inflammatory bowel disease. Until the results come back from her biopsies though we won't know exactly what. She has been given a special diet and medication, and although she may have to stay on this for the foreseeable future, we are just very happy to have found out what was making her so ill and to know that it is treatable.
She is very groggy from being under general anaesthetic for so long, and clearly quite uncomfortable as when she has opened her eyes she has been quietly whining. It's heartbreaking to hear but lovely to have her back in her own bed where we can give her all the tlc she needs to recover.
She is also rocking some bald patches and a very fetching blue bandage!
