The lighting for this shot was not right. Sorry! But I was making Chinese chicken and asparagus soup at the same time....

These are my birthday present from my old mate Eileen,who came over today with her children Freddie and Kirsty. She made the jellies herself. We played Banangrams, and went out for lunch (chips) but got caught in a downpour. Afterwards we went to a second hand bookshop, where I bought a crime book called The Toff and the Kidnapped Child. Look out for excerpts!

I also managed to unpack, watch a bit of Boston Legal, some curling from Sochi, and make soup! Not bad, considering it's day 4 of half term and I haven't stopped yet. Thursday is when I finally slow down.
