Whernside from Ribblehead viaduct

Today we walked. It was brilliant, about 7.5miles and the weather was lovely... To start off with! After I'd taken this photo we climbed, and climbed, then the ice rain began, and then we hit the snow! It was a tad treacherous on the top - howling winds from the right, with the threat of impending doom and fog to nowhere to the left!

Enjoyable but bad for the knees!
